The Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) and its partners are looking for enthusiastic and engaging students and young professionals to be part of high-level discussions with the top leaders from different landscape sectors at the 2016 Global Landscapes Forum (GLF).

Up to 1,000 people from 42 countries – small-scale farmers, fishers, pastoralists, consumers, urban gardeners, indigenous peoples, researchers, agricultural workers, environmentalists, human rights defenders and trade unionists – will converge from all over Europe, for a series of workshops and discussions on how to change the farming and food system.

Doing Development Differently - why aid has to change and how

The Development Talks will focus on why current development practices need to change, what successful programmes have in common and how to go about doing development differently.

The afternoon will hold parallel co-creative workshops which will start unpacking what these new approaches would mean for Sida and its partners.
