Vattenhallen holds an open house, with free admission, and offers popular science lectures and many experiments on energy and climate. At the planetarium we will discuss the difference between our own planet and the exoplanets that have been discovered orbiting nearby stars, concluding that Earth is unique in many ways.
The division of Water Resources Engineering at LTH, Lund University, gives six brief popular science talks about water and its importance in society in a number of different areas. These talks will address both local and global issues and be held in English.

What kind of world do we live in? How has development resulted in the current situation and what will we leave behind for our children and grandchildren? What are the burning issues of our time and how have we dealt with the challenges that previous generations passed on to us? During the week we will address questions regarding human rights and equality.
