Sida welcomes you to a participatory seminar unpacking social norms in relation to gender equality, rural development and poverty reduction. The objective of the seminar is two-fold:
- Start a deeper discussion on the links between social norms, gender equality and rural development
- Get inspiration on how to work with social norms from panellists and from colleagues
A researcher, a policymaker and a development practitioner will set the stage and provide their understanding of the current challenges and the lessons learnt within agriculture and women’s economic empowerment.
Mutual learning and inspiration is best achieved by engaging, and we therefore look forward to a sharing experience, which will include the knowledge and insights of participants as a central part of the discussions.
Please register no later than April 13 2018.
