SIANI, the Swedish International Agriculture Network Initiative is a Sweden-based network with worldwide membership of more than 1000 people and growing! All members are united under the vision “Sustainable Food Security and Nutrition for All”.
The Steering Committee provides input, support and over-all direction of the network development and its initiatives. It is a mechanism for approving annual work plans prepared by the Secretariatin in collaboration with members and partners. The members of the Steering Committee represent the members of the network and are composed from people positioned within Government Ministries, private sector, academia, and civil society.
We are currently open for nominations for new members of the Steering Committee during spring 2015 with the intention to start in September 2015. There are a total of 10 members on the steering committee and each serves for a maximum of 3 years.
If you know someone who would be a good candidate to join the Steering Committee, please send us an email. All suggestions will be reviewed by the SIANI Secretariat and selected by Sida.
