Agroecology Day is an annual event organized by the Agroecology Masters students at SLU Alnarp. With the theme “From Research to Practice: Scaling Agroecological Solutions”, the event will serve as a platform for researchers, students, practitioners, and industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative agroecological solutions, and pathways for scaling these practices in real-world settings.
The day will be kicked off by Leon Bucher, a holistic management trainer and coach, specializing in regenerative farming and ecological monitoring. With his experience on training farmers across Europe in holistic management and grazing, Leon will present lecture about “Looking for regeneration – a practical approach”.
Following the keynote, there will be a series of inspiring short talks by
- SaraHåkanson Maxence (Project manager at Regenerator) : “A regenerative future – what system transformation is needed?”

- Samuel Amant (Founder of Koastal) : “The seaweed franchise model – scaling
