Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) as a regional organization of the Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations has been consistently following to and engaging in the regional and global process of the sustainable development. The theme of the 11th Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD), ‘Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in the times of multiple crisis: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions in Asia and Pacific” is focusing to the Goal 1, 2, 13, 16, and 17 which directly connects and interlinks with the right to self-determination over the land, territories and resources (LTR). That’s why, the side event is titled “Securing rights to land, territories, and resources (LTR) enables to address poverty, hunger, climate change, and peace and security” focusing to the LTR. An inclusive panel of the speakers will be sharing their experience on and highlighting the issues relating to the LTR.
