Modern, conventional agriculture integrated with a global agri-food system contributes to many global environmental problems while malnutrition, hunger and poverty persist amid other serious socioeconomic and health concerns in Southeast Asia. Some current practices may even be endangering future food security by undermining the ecological basis of the global food system.
This regional multi–disciplinary academic conference aims to help address these challenges through new research, academic reforms, learning activities and policy dialogue.
Conference proceedings will be published to provide good multi-disciplinary scientific evidence as a basis for more informed decision-making among ASEAN policy-makers, government agencies, university administrators, international organizations, donors and others.
Pre-registration is required. Please find the registration form and more information here.
