KTH will together with Stockholm University host the Swedish-Chilean Academic Forum “ACCESS” in June 2024. The ACCESS platform aims to facilitate and deepen the academic relations between Chile and Sweden, as well as to enable researchers, staff and students to become more connected to each other.
ACCESS offers a unique opportunity for the academic communities from all disciplines in both countries to meet, connect and share experiences.
The main activity in the ACCESS forums are the Research Themes where researchers from both countries share knowledge and discuss common challenges. Eligible participants for the Research Themes are PhD students, early career researchers and senior researchers. However, the PI:s for the Research Themes must hold a PhD degree. Furthermore, involvement of stakeholders that present funding opportunities is likewise an important component.
The goal with the ACCESS Forum 2024 in Stockholm is to continue the creation of new collaborations among researchers in Chile and Sweden, as well as to strengthen already established collaborations. We envision a week full of opportunities and shared knowledge aiming for sustainable societies in Chile, Sweden and globally
