UNICEF has the global convening power to initiate and galvanize support for such an ambitious and much needed initiative to bring children and youth back on the global agenda. But this is not a UNICEF event alone – it is co-organized with partners and leaders who work towards improving the lives of children all around the world. Partners include the Government of Botswana and the Government of Sweden as co-hosts.
Children and young people need an authoritative global event and platform where they can convene alongside leaders to review the state of the world’s children, reflect on progress and inspire meaningful commitments. With young people and children at the centre of the conversation, the Global Forum for Children and Youth will create the first annual moment for the world to listen to children and young people and work with them to find sustainable solutions. Please join us and help make this critical event a success in building a future fit for every child.
