Agroforestry Network, with support from SIANI, recently launched a policy brief discussing how agroforestry can improve the livelihoods of young people in sub-Saharan Africa.

Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) in collaboration with Nepal Food Network and Alliance of Agriculture for Food - Sudurpashchim Province Chapter, jointly organized a provincial food system dialogue on 10 December 2021 in Dhangadhi, Nepal.

In line with the International Women’s Day 2022 campaign, SIANI wants to recognise their enormous contribution to food systems and make their voice heard. Women worldwide share their role in the shift to sustainable food systems.

The policy brief of one of the workstreams of the conference focused on “Food policy and Food security.” The paper concentrates on how food policies could support a transition to functioning and resilient food systems, upscale food system innovations, create agribusiness value chains, and foster multistakeholder partnerships.
