SIANI strives for diversity of perspectives and broad actor representation in our network. We are currently working on identifying the ways to involve more youth in the discussion around agricultural development in general and in our network in particular. It was also one of the recommendations that came out of the SIANI Annual Meeting in January 2015.
We would like to understand which topics, activities, and communication tools related to food security and sustainable agriculture are the most attractive and engaging for young people. As a first step, we conducted a digital survey among youth and people working with youth during March and beginning of April 2015. The results will be shared here shortly.
We want to hear your thoughts on how to make SIANI more attractive to young professionals, students and other youth! What are the topics and key issues of interest? What kind of activities are relevant and fun? How should we spread the word about such activities?
