The Secretariat of the Nordic Council of Ministers is looking for an enterprising, driven and experienced project employee* who will contribute to the work for sustainable and healthy food consumption and strengthened preparedness within the food policy area in the Nordic region. Together with the senior advisor for the area, you will develop and implement the new food program that will run from 2025 – 2027.
*Please note that employment requires citizenship of one of the Nordic countries. You must also be able to express yourself well, both orally and in writing, in one of the Secretariat’s three official working languages: Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. You can also express yourself both in writing and orally in English.

The Nordic Council of Ministers, together with the Nordic Council, is the core of official Nordic cooperation. The secretariat consists of three departments responsible for matters as well as the Secretary General’s office, a communications department, a department for HR and legal affairs, as well as an economics department. The Nordic Council of Ministers’ secretariat is located in the Nordic House in the middle of Copenhagen, together with the Nordic Council Secretariat and the Nordic Cultural Foundation Secretariat, and has around 130 employees.

The position is a full-time project position at the Secretariat of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Copenhagen until 31 December 2027. We would like you to take up the position as soon as possible. Local (Danish) working conditions and salary apply to this position. The work involves limited travel, mainly within the Nordic countries.
