This online global dialogue, held on March 18, 2021, the first in the new Focali – SIANI Dialogue series, aimed to explore the effects of the pandemic on forest communities and forest resource use by bringing together actors from different knowledge communities, regions and levels to share emerging perspectives, knowledge gaps, policy recommendations and suggest ideas for collaboration ahead.
The first session included presentations, exchange and group discussions around the topic: ”What do we know about forests, livelihoods and the pandemic? Emerging lessons for community resilience and “green recovery” ”. This session was followed by a second session, focusing on exploring knowledge gaps and on how to collaborate to find out more.
