Anne Larson, Team leader for Equity, Gender and Tenure, Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), discussed tenure rights of local communities and indigenous people. She argued that the tenure security is always contested by different stakeholders. One needs to unpack the complexities of tenure rights beyond conservation and livelihoods.
